"I've not yet had a chance to visit this location, but I do hope to. I lived in Ypsilanti several years ago and I shopped there frequently. It was right behind where I lived at the time and I could walk if I wanted. They had an area where tacos and tamales were freshly made and sold. Also a section where you could get different kinds of fresh meat and some fish. And they also had several isles of grocery items. They also had a lot of Mexican items that are hard to find in other stores. My personal favorite was the stainless steel "bakery cabinet" that had different fruit empanadas and a few other sweets. I loved the caramel empanadas. They came early and if you didn't go early, you missed out because they sold out fast. I'm assuming that the Westland store will be awesome if it is anything like the Ypsilanti location. I'm sure it is, if owned by the same family/location. I really need to get over there 😔 I keep forgetting so I know I'm really missing out. Don't drag your feet, I know that when you go check it out, you're going to love it just as much... maybe more 😉💕"
